As the subject says, the greatest series in all of Gundam is to be released in November! Right now, I'm saving as much money as I can to buy the limited edition boxed set that'll come with all sorts of neat stuff!<br><br>BTW, first post in my beloved section! Zeta is the greatest series? I always thought everyone was in love with SEED. SEED is Gawd-awful. And, yes everyone IS in love with it just because it's new, flashy, and a bastardization of every single UC series.<br><br>Zeta Gundam is a VERY complicated story. Basically, the "good guys" from the original series, the Earth Federation is now portrayed as what it always was: a corrupt, Earth-centric totalitarian government. Now, since the OYW a new group has entered play, called the Titans - think along the lines of the Gestapo and SS from Nazi Germany. The Titans begin a reign of terror and oppression against spacenoids, to the point of murdering the population of an entire colony that rose up against the EFF. Here is where a rouge faction called the A.E.U.G. (Anti Earth United Government) arises, and endeavours to destroy the hated Titans and free the Earth Sphere from the grip of totalitarianism.<br><br>Now that you know the premise, I can go on to say that this series is quite depressing. Hehe, just be careful what you're downloading... I think it's just been released in Japan on DVD, however in Japanese dialouge only. Now, there are some 36-48 MB episodes out there, but those are the infamous Hong Kong fansubs that have the WORST translations EVER, not to mention muddy video and audio quality. They are a neverending source of amusment for Gundam fanboys like me though! ^_^<br><br>Just remember, it is ILLEGAL to do so, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you view the series LEGALLY. I bought the whole series of Cowboy Bebop for $21 on ebay from a guy in China. The Soldiers and well known officers in the one year war 0079 that fought on the zeon and federation sides team up and form the AEUG because one group led by a former General of the Federation started this one Elitist group inside the Federation and successfully took over in a sense. So the AEUG goes in and fights the Elitist group etc etc. Some Characters you see are Kai, Char Aznable, Amuro Rey, Captain Bright, and a few others. Damn, so you know the silliness of the infamous HK subs? XD<br><br>I bought the series on DVD a couple weeks ago, and it is AWESOME! I actually prefer the dub over the sub, simply because they added background ambiance sfx which was sorely lacking in the original japanese dialogue track.<br><br>As for the AEUG and the Titans, the AEUG is mostly ex-Federation officers and soldiers (the founders were a former General named Blex Forer, a ship captain named Henken Bekkner, and Quattro Bajeena - who is really Char Aznable in a thin disguise) that became enraged by the rampant opression of the Titans. All of this has been masterminded by Admiral Jamitov Hymem who now sits at the head of the Federation... He's a power hungry madman who is VERY bigoted against spacenoids. Other key players in the Titans include Colonel Bask Ohm (is pretty much in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Titans); Major Yazan Gable (MADMAN, IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD); Lieutenant Jerid Messa (jackass and moron); and Paptimus Scirrocco (the Titans will later regret bringing on the Man From Jupiter...). <p>Neo Kamidake, Resident Gundam Fanboy<!--EZCODE BR START--><br /><!--EZCODE BR END--><!--EZCODE BR START--><br /><!--EZCODE BR END--><!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>"My wealth and treasures? Zeta Gundam is so great. I was playin Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam and i never realized the Psyco Gundam was so big.
