Hmmm, just an opion from an informed person, but 2 copper jacketed-lead slugs from a Beretta 92F would not stop a mini-gun, IMPO, unless they pierced ...ohhhh, now I do say too much....ouch...trust me...where they hit in the anime wouldn't stop that gun if it had enough torque behind it....and yes, it is a stand-off weapon, not close quarters....but 7.62 at that cyclic rate will do alot more damage than a 9mm pistol round (which will do next to nothing compared to the firing rate of the mini-gun..but it can be dis-abled by taking out the guy holding it; much more realisticly - wish they did that...)
As far as the damage to the boat...I'm not sure what your referering too, but Dutch sent Revy out on errands so he could repair damage. (Although my knowlege of PT boats was that they were lined up and burned at the end of WWII, I could be wrong....) I love the PBY's the pirates used to try to kill them, that's Vietnam era! and the pt and pby's were the predicesors to the modern-day jet-skis!!!
How do they keep it fed???? Oh, I'm sure it is to be had there, if not cheap. the high octane explosion at the dock explains that....and why Revy complains about a mere $20 thousand job....getting everything you can scrounge from an underwater job....overhead baby, overhead...and why they jump on any lucrative job, even if it goes against Hotel Moscow....are reluctant to use their torpedoes (shame to waste them).....and why she complains when Rock throws away a gun (do you know how much that cost?) or complains about the cost of bullets.....the bottom line is always in the forefront of this one...love it! And, they aren't living the high life, not when Revy escapes to try to find a place with working AC at the Church of Violence....da-nieyedddd!!!
