If Geneon's gone, then who has this?

Only found out about the Fall of Geneon recently, but by the seems of it, no one.

Higurashi was also being released by them, and of course, that stopped with their end. Which is a shame, as that series is great. Apparently the dubbers are ready to continue it when someone picks it up.
But it does seem to be dark times for Anime, well "officially" anyway.
There was a bit of strangeness with that Gurren Lagun or whatever it is called. It has been picked up by someone else now, but AD Vision just suddenly dropped it. Strangely, it seems to be Subtitles only. Thank God Then .

Hopefully it will just be a short slump, and anime will be in again soon... we need another big series (relaises there have been several recent series of pure awesome)... Or something... that doesn't scare most people away.
