I always really liked Gundam Wing and Yu Yu Hakasho. I haven't branched out very much to tell the truth. Tenchi's really been the only anime that I've really connected with. I'm afraid I don't have many good suggestions. I'm sure someone here could come up with a couple of relatively unknown suggestions. |

Anyone ever see the movie "Doomed Megalopolis"? Hee hee. Any for a show, I'd recommend "Rome". Only two seasons, but being a history major, I found this show to be as accurate as possible, if the Romans had English accents. PERFECT SHOW, historically, cinematographically, acting, everything about it. Crazy it was canceled, funding issue. HBO hasn't quite recovered. Whereas anime is concerned, hmmm... If you're bored, try giving STM another shot!! Seriously. Not as bad as you'd think. I'm not into the epic battle and powers that essentially give meaning to the show, instead I enjoy the harem theme and fillers. So STM actually wasn't too bad if you're more interested in the "show" aspect of anime. |
