I like "Photons, Protons, Synchrotrons". Because the writers managed to avoid technobabbling (though they DID cut the science bit quite unnaturally - for those who weren't concentrating and didn't notice - which was irritating). And it gave the Tenchi Universe incarnation of Washu a tiny little piece of character development. Bet the writers strained for weeks over it too. --------------------- "No business man is gonna use and confuse me, 'Cos I ain't no puppet for capital gain." PPS and I'm a Pioneer are both great songs. The Tenchi Universe opening song is pretty catchy as well. I picked Â“Dimension of LoveÂ”. ItÂ’s a great song that ended Tenchi Universe perfectly. I think the best song from Tenchi is Love Song Ga Kikoeru [I Can Hear a Love Song]. I am sorry, it is'n that I forgot them, it is just that I only had 5 spaces for options. That is why in the 5th space it says any other song...because there wasn't enof to name them all. I like all of the songs from the Tenchi series, I just think Ryoko's Love Song is so sweet. It shows how much Ryoko loves Tenchi. <HR>

Well I see Tenchi music in two catagories. 1. Mindless technocliche' (IE sounds like it would be right at home in a Ninteno game) 2. Inspired The ones being mentioned here are 2's all the way. How 'bout this. I fix digital player pianos. These pianos erad the music of a 3.5" disk. So guess what I carry around? That Ayeka song, it's really simple but compelling. You'd be amazed at the VERY positive reactions I get from people who I know wouldn't know who Tenchi was if he walked up an bitc* slapped them. I get a kick out of it. Because I think many of them would be the type to "poo-poo" anime if the subject was brought up. I just say, it's Japanese and called "Ayeka" which means delicate and fragile. Anywho, I found out the artist that does "Love will leave you crying" (or whatever the name is, TU intro) it's Sonia. I downloaded a handfull of their other songs off Napster way back. Tenchi Universe opening is great the closing is alright too. I love Pionner Dimension of Love is good also. **Grumbles** I never liked the intros except for the Ballad of Ryo-ohki which was clearly techno. The other themes sounded so plasticy and artificial, but pretending not to be. Ballad of Ryo-ohki is computer techno without denial. You guys should really hear Love Song Ga Kikoeru...and not just because it has ANRI for vocals (extremely talented j-pop star), or wonderful lyrics, or even beautiful tunes with electric violins...it's a good song and it's beautifully emotional and honest. I agree though that Autumn of Life is good too.
