I like both the OVA and Universe, but I voted for the first movie. I still think that it's one of the best anime movies ever!

The third movie was good but the first movie was much much better. Except the ending for Tenchi Muyo In Love 2 was beautiful. I voted OVA, but of cource you knew I would vote OVA because ya'll have more then likely seen my disfavor for TU and TIT. I liked the first movie too. The second movie, it was ok, but I won't watch it agian. The 3rd one, I lost intrest in the middle of it and endure the ending. I like flashy guns, cool swords, and lots of power!!!But I also like little pet cabbits too! :)

What series have you seen JRk? Most people agree that the OAV was the best series because it was made by the people who actually created Tenchi Muyo. TU and Shin Tenchi and everything but the first movie was made by other people or by a committee. Tenchi Muyo Ryo-ohki is the only REAL tenchi series because it was made by the people who actually created tenchi muyo, the characters, and the ideas. Thats how I feel. Yujenisis is right, the whole oringinal version thing is cool. The first movie was best of the three. The third is generally more popular with Ryoko fans methinks and the second was the worst. Was the second movie actually a movie though? I've read that it was some ova special that really doesn't fit into any of the continuities. I'm just hoping they get those new ova episodes finished so we can see them here in the states. I have to kill the time waiting by reading the manga, which is very funny!

Vorny, it was a TV Special. I thought that was stated before, but I guess not. They call it the "Tenchi Movie" but in Japan it was a TV special.
