I like Outlaw Star too. I gave it a 4 out of 5(above average). It just so happens that those particular shows were stuck in an heavily editted form, on TV. There is *nothing* wrong with not having a lot of experience with Anime and wanting to learn more. Heck, it gives people with a lot more experience and knowledge of them a chance to "show you the world" so to speak. anyway, thanx for the info on the song... i feel so.. um, stupid when i assume things like songs on an anime board are from an anime, i must be a moron. (cough cough). yeah, i keep forgetting that there are better animes out there, it's just b/c *some certain people that i live with and who just so happen to provide for me* (my parents) don't like the idea of getting stuff off the internet, and thats the only place you can get unbutchered, high-quality anime... i'm serious, the highly acclaimed suncoasts in this area (or perhaps everywhere, it's a conspiracy!) have gone to pot. i'm serious- all they had was akira and dbz, oh and cowbe(which is not bad). so forgive me if i enjoy what i've got. Fansubs, my friend. ^.^ They are free if you download them. And you can get people to send them to you for the cost of a CD and shipping. Most people prefer quality over file size because they download them and burn them to CDs. Your going to want a broadband connection. You can always find someone to be a digisub distributor. Make sure when you do your ONLY paying for the CD and shipping. You should never be paying "full price" for fansubs as they are made by fans for fans for free.
