who thinks ryoko is......

As I see it, Tenchi already seems to be moving in Ryoko's direction. He seems to grow closer & closer to Ryoko as the series progresses, while on the other hand he never again seems as close to Ayeka as he did in eps 3 & 4. He just doesn't seem to have consciously realized it yet. And LG, I doubt that. I don't think they'll wait forever, but it's only about 9 months from the time they move in with him to the end of the 2nd OAV. Well, Tenchi has to grow a spine in female matters pretty soon. He never seems confident when dealing with any of the girls in a romantic matter. Again, it's already starting to happen. Notice how Tenchi didn't seem the least bit preturbed when Ryoko was hugging him & hanging onto his arm in ep 13? Not even a single sweatdrop resulted from her physical displays of affection. Please don't hurt me.....I think he got use to her doing that, and quit reacting when she did, if she jumped on him he may have gotten a diffrent responce. *I do like the idea, and am sure they will marry in teh 4th OAV. That is a good point. Ryoko tried to fry him in OVA 1, so it is only natural that she would give him the willies at first. I studied OVA 1. I became convinced that Ryoko was indeed letting off steam but was NOT actually trying to kill Tenchi. This led to other questions. We see flashbacks in later episodes showing Ryoko watching Tenchi growing-up, even putting her astral hand over his when he was crying. And the VERY first thing she did when released from her stasis: As still a dry-looking mummy, she CARESSED his cheek! Finally, I wrote my fanfiction about what was REALLY going on. Then, I added pictures. This is indeed what she is doing. She even says so:  "I need to take my anger out on someone right now!". However I don't think this knowledge would have prevented Tenchi from getting the pants scared off of him. Sure she was just playing with him, he didn't realize this at first but I think he did at the end of the episode when she regrows her hand. I don't want to make any cultural assumtions, so I'll just try to make some concerning similar circumstances in other Anime... concerning Tenchi's... Patience. -The majority(not all) of Japanese males in Anime seem to start serious relationships in their colledge years, if not later. for eg. Sailor Moon(Darrien), Ah my Goddess(Keiichi-sp?), Love Hina(Forgot guy's name) etc etc. It's pretty common in at least Anime that the males wait to grow and mature before reveiling their feelings for a girl. Concerning Ryoko and Tenchi's first encounter... OK OK, well, this is what I've read before. She was actually mad at TENCHI, but had only the intentions of scaring the living daylights out of him. This is supposedly the reason for Ryoko and Tenchi's first heated encounter... It concerns the cave. The entire time Ryoko has known Tenchi Within the seal, she had wanted desperately to escape. She was deprived of the contact with the outside world and had to use her own energy to create a replica of the jewel so she would have enough power to escape on her own. If she hadn't done this, she could have remained as a cute girl (^_^) with her body intact, but instead, she dried up like a mummy because of her efforts. However, Tenchi broke the seal, allowing her to get energy from outside to recover. Ryoko's thoughts: "I was trying to make the replica gem at the cost of my body. And once it would be done, I could have broken the seal and gone to see Tenchi to surprise him..." Tenchi's act of breaking the seal rendered all her efforts and hope that she had been working on for more than a decade worthless, pluss the embarrassment of being seen as some mummy. That's why she attacked Tenchi-out of frustration. (She had no intention of harming him. Just scaring him) If she hated being in the cave so much, it would've only taken dacades for her to escape, not 700 yrs. Perhaps she was more frightened of Kagato, than being in he cave. She did fail the most important mission Kagato has ever given her(Capturing Tsunami unit). Or perhaps she was remorseful concerning her crimes, and dwelled on her actions. If she was actually furious about her imprisonment by Yosho... she didn't seem to show it. She never even asked him for a 'friendly' rematch with bokkens. Yes, she had good reason to be frightened of Kagato, because of what he had done to her in the past. So I believe Ryoko's emnity was not so great against Yosho for this reason, she hated Kagato much more. Ryoko's short time that she has been free from the cave is the only part of her 2000 year life that has really been hers to live. All of her previous experience has been under the mind control of Kagato or the imprisonment in the cave. This is the first chance she has had to really explore herself, to discover her humanity, in many ways she is a young child just starting to grow. Although this growth started while she was still imprisoned, when Tenchi began to visit her as a young boy. Until then, no one had ever been interested, no one had ever cared about her at all - hence her devotion to Tenchi. <CENTER><img src=http://users.adelphia.net/~henheart/images/siggy4.jpg> Please .. don't force me to shoot you .. because .. if I do it's gonna really hurt!</CENTER>

She's 2000 years old Galactic years... She was approximately 5040 years old in Earth Years when she was realeased. Being imprisoned in the cave compared to her entire life when looking at it seems pretty small, and waiting for Tenchi's desicion up to this point(approx 9mnthx/1 year or so) probably seems like a week to her if she has our life span. She has all the time in the world to wait. She just recently recieved her freedom, and she seems to be having the time of her life. Galactic years? Must be a Tenchi Muyo version. Yes, it is a TM version, of course.
