Uhh dude that's for the internet. Your computer itself doesn't support switching between multiple languages with so-called "Language Packs". Microsoft did this so they could control prices by country. Windows in Japan costs almost $200 as a stand-alone product (It costs about half in the US). They do this because everything (except manga) is more expensive in Japan. If they made an OS that supported multiple langauges they wouldn't make as much money. However, this changed with XP. Which now supports language packs (A feature that MacOS and all other OSes have had for quite awhile). The non-Roman character support and the imput system really sucks for XP as with ANY new feature. And the ability to switch between languages within the OS is unreliable and is pretty gimpy. Eventually as with anything Microsoft will refine and fix their language support. But at this point ONLY XP offers rudimentary support. Shift-JIS and the Unicode you speak of are only for the encoding of websites. (Although UniCode is also the standard for displaying any language that doesn't use Roman-stylings: Cryllic, Asian, etc UniCode is not supported in a US build of Windows. <div align="center">Ten years ago, something happened. I can *read* Kanji, katagana and hiragana in my broser.. I can't understand it though and I can't see the difference between those three different styles.. Al i know is the hirakana(?) symbol for Life (ZOE i believe) that i've carved in at the back of one of my Geetars..
