Very true LG, very true.<br><br>I've never really taken any religion or belief system of any kind as truth of any sort because all it is is a point of view on how the world works, nothing more. I've never understood why everyone thinks the Bible is the ultimate truth and/or that all the answers to life's big questions can be found in it. I read it and I didn't find any index or question/answer page giving me the answers to all my questions on how to run my life and so forth. In fact, I studied quite a few cultures on Planet Earth and I've found that Christainity is no different in explaining how the universe works than Ancient Greek myth or Native American rituals. I've come to see that science is the only thing that, not only answers these questions, but gives us a method on how it came about. Science is only beginning to throughly explain the reason behind the existence of the universe and everything in it, but it's explained a great of topics that were once attributed to a diety or group of dieties. Why shouldn't science explain the origin of the universe or life or consciousness? <br><br>And, from what I know on Dianetics and such, it's all in the mind. Books like that make you feel good and at ease with yourself, experiences caused by certain neurotransmitters in your brain (dopamine being one of them) which have the effect of stimulating your immune system and help you fight the germs in your body. This is why laughter is considered the best medicine because laughter causes more of the neurotransmitter dopamine to be released, stimulating your immune system again. This has been proven in laboratories and hospitals. It's all a matter of biochemistry. <p>According to top scientific research, 3 out of 4 people make up 75% of the population. Dianetics is evil. Scientology steals people's lives, money and loved ones.<br><br>And destroys people.<br><br>It's sickening. I think you are candy-coating a lot if you believe there is actually something behind Dianetics. It makes absolutely no sense. L.
