09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.
I am *very* passionate about Anti-Scientology. Someone who meant a great deal to me is, well at least for me, lost forever because of it's evil.

I don't often use evil to discribe many things because the world isn't so polarized. But Scientology IS evil. It's ideas are evil, it's treatment of other human beings is evil, it's leadership, it's origins, everything about it is absolutely disgusting.

Gloria
Honorifice
Pralium Facio

Animus
Gradior Quo
Prodo

In Excelsis
Precedo
Bellator
Decerte
Adversa
Incurro
Invadoria

Desideratus Fatum!
Desideratus Bellum!

Coming Soon: New Siggie.

After reading the Church of Scientology's site, explaining a bit on what Dianetics and Scientology, I found that it's worse than I originally thought. I see Hubbard's logic behind it, but he should've stuck with Dianetics and simply called it "another guide that you can live by" instead of expanding the mess into Scientology and turning it into a shoddy excuse for a cult. I can see how brainwashin techniques are incorporated into it too, by "clearing" the mind of the so-called "reactive mind," his interpretation of the lower brain or cerebellum that governs our primitive emotions and body functions. Then, once you've eliminated that, you become a "clear" with only your "analytical mind" (your cerebrum) and then to seperate something called a thetan from your body and become one with the universe or some such mumbo-jumbo.

His excuse is that science has only been studying the mind as a collection of neurons and chemicals and, because of that, it hasn't developed a soud explanation for conscious behavior. Obviously, Hubbard believed that science was a subject where random behavoir did not exist, everything was planned out and could be told in advance, and that's why is failed to explain how the universe worked. I can tell you as a science buff that many sciences do not deal with planned out equations and such, like chaos theory. Chaos theory has explained a great deal about the random behavior behind cloud formation, the stock market, and quantum mechanics and, many have speculated, that human consciousness could be a byproduct from the chemical reactions and electrical impulses in the brain that only our brain can generate, probably because of it's size. Something can be more than the sum of it's parts, not explained by adding something else, like a thetan or a soul.

Sorry about your friend Yuje. I see why you hate this so much and it doesn't even stand up to the rules of logic either. I can't see why or how anyone could believe this completely.

eh, thats just trying to explain the unexplainable. There are alot of sh!t that goes on science cannot explain. Trying to explain it is a vain effort that always is proved wrong later on.

But this country was founded on the idea that people have the right to choose what they think.

I have been on the verge of being an angel all my life, but it's never happened yet.
~Mark Twain

Well, we may not be able to explain it now, but I think that science is progressive and we'll eventually find an answer. It may not be what I said above, but that the current going theory and there really hasn't been an experiment set up to test it. (If there was, then we would've figured out artificial intelligence.) We may not know exactly how the universe works, but I think we'll find something (it may be or may not be complete) to explain it. I believe that, if something is unexplained, it's not unexplainable.

I dont think many things are bad (Im a Libertarian in political philosophy), but Scientology is a ver bad and evil thing.

"I'm the greatest, and I can't possibly be beat!- Cassius Clay aka Muhammed Ali"I am become death, the destroyer of worlds"- Robert Oppenheimer

Yes it is sad how the world is. LG You forgot to list me when you mentioned the 2nd generation.

I am the one.

I am Tsunami's apprentice.

I am one of the few

able to produce

10 Light Hawk Wings!!

we will never find the answer cause there isnt one. And if there is we arent meant to know it now

I have been on the verge of being an angel all my life, but it's never happened yet.
~Mark Twain

Well, tomduo, I can't simply accept the fact that there aren't answers to questions or that we "aren't meant to know it now". Who decides what we are meant to know at certain times? Everything may not have a reason for being, but everything has some form of answer.

Yeah, I didnt know if you were 2nd generation or first generation, TLHW. And I personally believe that the universe is far FAR beyond our very primitve comprehension.

"I'm the greatest, and I can't possibly be beat!- Cassius Clay aka Muhammed Ali"I am become death, the destroyer of worlds"- Robert Oppenheimer

I disagree. Although we believe that our technology is primitive, the only thing that makes it primitive is our own imagninations. Science Fiction is mainly blamed for this. Our logic and scientific theorems are coming close to figuring out what happened during AND before the big bang. We have already started on creating designs for space travel within the commercial market. To say that science cannot explain everything about ourselves is shallow (I apologize ahead of time to whoever I have insulted.) I cannot say that I have always believed this, but as I have learned more and more about civilization, history, religion, and Physics I have becomed humbled of all the things that we have accomplished as a whole. Our society has always used religion and superstition in order to explain what we cannot explain.... yet. Even the human mind and all of its little complexities becomes sharper and clearer each decade. How long before we figure out what souls are? Only time will tell, but I can tell you one thing. WE WILL EVENTUALLY KNOW.

Thus it was done

"Every act of destruction has a repercussion"- Karn, Silver Golem

A star that burns twice as bright burns half as long

"An innocent man died because of my anger. Amazing indeed!^^ It wasn't until 1927 that a large fuzzy cloud out in the galaxy was found in fact to be another galaxy - Andromeda. It was then that we discovered the universe extended beyond our Milky Way galaxy. But discoveries in the last century were not limited to the macro universe, also great discoveries were made in the micro universe - quantum mechanics, relativity, nuclear physics, new subatomic particles and quarks. And still the search continues ...

Interesting comment about the order of the universe.
