09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.

Yes, I agree this topic has been beaten to death. After reading all of you beat each other over head time after time, I have come to appreciate more than ever the wisdom of Tenchi - not to choose, not to reject. I too refuse to choose a favorite, for two reasons. One, I like all of the characters (each one for different reasons), and two, depending on which story and which episode you watch one character seems to outshine the others. Each one of them gets their moment in the spotlight, each one of them gets to be the hero. So trying to choose a favorite is like trying to choose a favorite from among my brothers and sisters - I won't do it! <p></p><i></i>

Very true, Sir Red.<br><br>I find it amusing how the people who claim Tenchi will end up with a certain girl/that he likes a certain girl more than the other is usually based on their own biases and feelings.<br><br>People need to realize that the decision Tenchi makes may not necessarily mirror their own. That goes for everyone.<br><br>Unless Kajishima pulls a dirty trick, I think it's fairly obvious who he would pick if he needed to.<br><br>Japan is famous culturally for it's giri-ninjo conflicts. That is plays, stories, movies, shows, tales, etc based on the idea of a conflict between one's duties and one's personal feelings.<br><br>In nearly all of these the main character faced with the conflit usually goes with his or her duties...and often the story ends sadly because of it.<br><br>So it depends how the OAV starts off. A certain un-popular character may win Tenchi if Kajishima decides to explore this giri-ninjo conflict. The ultimate decision of course will rest with Masaki Kajishima, only he knows already who it will be. The only info he will let out is that Tenchi WILL make a choice at the end of OVA series 3 and that some fans will be satisfied and some will be disappointed. Unless anyone out there has a stoolie at AIC, we will all probably have to wait. And like Yuj says, I wouldn't put it past him to throw us a curve. <p></p><i></i>
