Hmm? I don't. So many people speak of change. But Change isn't a magical force that always works. Likewise people who speak of change don't always have ideas of what to do. I know a lot of politicians talk about changing something. And they have no idea how to change it and usually don't if they get into office.<br><br>Likewise in our government when "change" happens it usually enters as somewhat radical than it's weakened with loopholes and concessions and doesn't accomplish much if anything.<br><br>Change done correctly will work and still have flaws. But there is always a risk that it may do more damage. Therefor not changing is percieved to be the safest.<br><br>Homeostasis and Transistasis. But, you still didnt answer the opinion I stated that not everyone hates change. You said humans naturally hate change. But there are people who embrace change, either theyre going against natural instincts or you were mistaken about human nature. And about governmental change, I think our government is really screwed up. My friends try to taunt me by saying its stupid.. when a @#%$ load of Japanese cartoons are better than American. And i don't understand why they say Anime is poorly drawn when Hey Arnold's Arnold massive head is terrible and the top ranking show Sponge Bob Square Pants is drawn with as many lines as an anime cell contains on average. <p><CENTER><B>Life is like a video game(That cheats): You can never beat the game, only play it through and it is very easy to lose.</B></CENTER></p><i></i> |

Thanks Nick, but I've already tried to stand up to them and everytime they throw a bible in my face and say "Thou should not like porn" and stuff. I try to say it's NOT porn and if they hate it that much that I'll buy the crappy Toonami version, but nooooooo, they think Toonami is evil too (I think so too cause of thier editing, but my parents hate it in another way) They even think Hamtaro is the work of the devil. The only anime they let me watch was pokemon. Besides that I have anime stuff hidden EVERYWHERE! Tommorrow I plan to go to the mall and buy Tenchi mangas 8 and 9 because my friend invited me because she wants to buy DBZ: The Legacy of Goku for her GBA. I want to too, but I'd rather have mangas. Theywill cost me 34.46 with tax. It is going to be hard to explain what happened to that money. Usually my friend helps me out by lending me CD's so I can say I bought them and return it to my friend a week later. Your parents sound like those Christian freak parents. Why don't you tell them that the Bible isn't even the way it looked when it was first made when they shove it in your face? After all, the Bible was translated into a bunch of other languages before English. It was originally in Latin. I really feel for ya, WWB.<br><br>I used to be in a similar situation when I was a freshman. Before anime, magic: the gathering, and my computer, I used to do a lot of book reading and was very antisocial.<br><br>After I started watching, I couldn't stop. My parents tried everything to make me back into who I was. They took my computer privileges, stole my anime tapes, and even sold some of my cards!<br><br>After 2 years of this, they gave me my stuff back and told me to be who I am. I'm happy that my mom helped get my stuff back from my step-father.
