Yep, it's true. And when did they announce OAV 4? Additionally, simply because it's on a BBS, especially a place as trashy as the AIC BBS doesn't mean it's true. Of course it doesn't make it a lie either. We wont know until we see it.

They will never let Tenchi choose any of the girls. Because if they do the people whom didn't want *****( Whom ever he chooses ) him to choose will just stop buying there merchandise. So, see? I suppose he could die in the battle between the goddesses, but then there would no need for OVA 4. OVA 4 was planned by Masaki Kajishima from the very beginning and will focus on life after the War of the Goddesses. Sort of a post-war type environment, more like "normal?" life, but probably similar to the first half of TU, Tenchi Muyo on Earth. It would make sense that Tenchi would choose a mate to settle down with in this sort of an environment, but he has shown an ability to extricate himself from all sorts of romantic entanglements in the past. And don't count out Masaki Kajishima, there could be any one of a number of twisted adventures in store for Tenchi. Personally, I hope he does choose  someone because the whole impasse thing is, for me anyway, getting a little old, and I would like to see some of the characters developed a little more, to see them mature, and to see some new dimensions added to them. <img src=http://users.adelphia.net/~henheart/images/tenchiryoko2.jpg> I've never regretted anything I've ever done in my entire life

If you want that kind of stuff your going to have to move onto other genres and other Anime/manga. INTEL INSIDE It's not a marketing gimick, it's a warning label.

Move on? Yeah, already working on that. As for improvements in TM, who knows? I don't see it happening in GXP and when OVA 3 finally gets released I may be long gone. Nice theory, Doc. This is bad and will be the end of the series if not remedied in OVA 3. Shifting the focus to the Goddess War will help with the development of the Tenchi, Tsunami, and Tokimi (and Z) characters, but not the others. Only by making his choice and getting by this impasse can the Tenchi Muyo environment move forward to explore new ideas, and new dimensions.
