Um to the nay sayers... In Ep:6 Kagato Attacks, in the Onsen (or whatever they were bathing) right after Ayeka gets hammered of "tea" (hahah) and says Ryoko is too old for Tenchi, Mihoshi shows up. One of her lines was something like "When he caught me in that black hole (Which was a subspace tear -ed.) I thought he just might be.... My destiny" Mihoshi assumes dreamy look then laughs and says "listen to me talking like that and we've only just met." (We've seeming to refer to her having just met Ryoko and Ayeka the day before -ed.) So, all other things aside, that shows the interest. Yeah I think Mihoshi makes it pretty obvious that she likes Tenchi in the OVA, by the way she talks to him and that scene in the bath. Also, why would Kiyone feel the need to anoy Ryoko with that quote? That shows that there must be some conflict on something, and it could be that Kiyone wanted to enter the conflict for Tenchi. i never had a chance... it was funny that you didn't notice that Han and Leia were gonna get together... i mean, yeah that thingy you got where you can't see things... people act... blah... anyway... Okay, THIS is the real reason why Kiyone said that in ep16 or 17 or whatever it was, of Shin Tenchi Muyo! ... It was obvious that Ryoko was not being 'truthful' to Mihsohi and Kiyone about her feelings towards Tenchi (she ran off to become a pirate w/ Hotsuma, remember?) ... Kiyone felt the only way to get through to Ryoko's true side was to upset her... By claiming her feelings for tenchi, she wanted to induce the same effect that Ayeka and Ryoko produce off each other...where they irratate each other and, in this way, realize their own feelings for tenchi as well. ... Of course, this failed for the most part. Afterwars, when Ryoko responds and gives Kiyone a lot of info, Kiyone mentions to Misoshi (cause Mishohi says she didn't know Kiyone had feelings for Tenchi), that "I really just did that to get her to open up. it worked a lot better than I'd hoped." ... There, happy now? Of course, this is personal conjecture, but its TRUE!
