Tenchi in Tokyo: Was it worth it?

Tenchi in Tokyo was just another series they made to get us to wait for the third OAV. Not only was the plot poor, but the characters were completely ruined. I think it was cool to have something that went totally the opposite way of the other series. Bleh... Shin Tenchi Muyo came from the depths of Hell. Animation, characters, plot, all awful. (Ayeka's more prissy than ever, Washu's reduced to a mad scientist, Mihoshi's worse than ever, Kiyone, who actually was the sane one, goes bonkers by the end... I think I'll stop there.) And not to mention Sakuya... God, I hate her.

I though it was Ok, there were some funny moments. I have a few subbed tapes, and there were a few line in Tokyo Or Bust I enjoyed. Motorcycle Lady: Ok! Ayeka: YAY! Sasami (In Japanese): What's with all the english all of a sudden. And then there was the tale Ayeka told where Sakuya whipped Tenchi. In my opinion,Tenchi in Tokyo was rea;;u gppd! Ot wasm t meant to be taken as part of the OAV series. It was meant as a comedy parady of the OAV. Meant for more laughs, than plot. Simplified, it was a comedy, nothing more. And if you actually compared it to the others, then it's no wonder you think it's a waste.

It was pathetic. Seriously I feel sorry for Kajishima when he has a bunch of crap with the names of his characters that he had nothing to do with. TU is even worse because ep 3 of TU and ep 3 of TM are almost exactly alike.
