The OAVs by far, the characters were directed by the original creator with their true intentions and motivations in mind. The other series series butchered their personalities by far, and I consider them cheap imitations. You forgot to mention the manga though, that is pretty good.<br><br>For example:<br><br>Tenchi - after OAVs, became a passive wuss, in Tit became an a$$hole<br><br>Ryoko - hmm, can't put my pulse on what changed, though her soft side showed more in the OAVs<br><br>Ayeka - just a freak in Tit<br><br>Sasami - no Tsunami, in Oavs gets depreessed, other series nearly always happy, in Tit hyper<br><br>Washu - becomes a mad scientist, no Ryoko connection<br><br>Yosho - hmm, don't remember<br><br>Nobuyuki - (I think he only has less than thirty seconds of screen time in the OAVs so I don't know) <p></p><i></i>

While the OAV and Tenchi Muyo in Love are by far my favorite series and movie, I still enjoy watching the other series as well. I think the only one that I really did not enjoy was Tenchi Muyo! in Love 2. Blech...that movie leaves me with nightmares... <p></p><i></i>

Well, let's just say, uh...the third movie left a bad taste in my mouth...the characters did not reflect anything from the OAV, TV Series, or even TiT...and parts of the movie were just nasty for cryin' out loud! Ryoko's criminal exploits were one part of STM that I actually liked. I enjoyed seeing her live it up and have a blast for a while instead of constantly doting on Tenchi.
