Yurika is more annoying, but she also has a lot of personality and she's very funny. i love ruri too. her deadpan goes so well in contrast to the others!! by the way have you seen that clip theyve got floating around opn kazaa? i downloaded it the other day its soooo good. its the one where theyve put clips o nadessico and matched it up perfectly to the evangelion opening credits. had anyone else seen it?

::sigh:: Kazaa sucks. It won't let me finish dl Nadesico. Anyway, from the 7 eps I've seen, I like Ruri. Especially when she was in that penguin suit. What about To Heart or Kannon or Ranma? Akane reminds me of Aeka....even the hair. And Shiho from To Heart reminds me of Ryoko. I probably should've said not to bother mentioning Love Hina, because I knew that title would come up. Personally, I find both the characters and the story to be considerably less interesting than those of Tenchi Muyo. And AMG is certainly a very good series, and I definitely enjoyed it, but not as much as TM. Bottom line, just because you prefer other series doesn't make them objectively better. You prefer them, I prefer Tenchi. And refuse to see that something could be better? Just a suggestion. Personally, I would agree with you. Tenchi is certainly one of the more creative and well made shows out there. However it is not perfect and certainly isn't the "best overall" anime out there. Anyone who says so hasn't seen very much good Anime. I think you could certainly go so far as to say it's the best of it's sub-genre. And I wouldn't argue because MOST Exotic Girlfriend genre shows simply annoy me. Playing out a stupid male fantasy...Tenchi is more then that. And I tolerate and even enjoy it. INTEL INSIDE It's not a marketing gimick, it's a warning label.
