OK, has anyone noticed that some of the "new" characters are performed by American celebrities like Charlie Sheen? The last time THAT happened was when Pricess Mononoke was released, and it tanked. Star power just isn't enough to promote animated productions. BTW, I'll take a pint mead MJH!

I'd say 68 million for a movie that was only run in 9 locations in the WHOLE United States is pretty damn good. It was extremely successful considering the half-assed distribution method Disney gave it. And the DVD was number 3 in DVD sales charts when it was released. INTEL INSIDE It's not a marketing gimick, it's a warning label.

It was a definite stepping stone in the horizon of anime. Of course, I only heard the dubbed version, but it was good enough in its own right. Billy Bob Thornton was surprisingly all-right in his character (the short, big-nosed fellow). On the other hand, certain scenes were quite, um...graphic, lol. <center><img src=http://www.fortunecity.com/millenium/jamie/1221/127680e0.jpg> </center><center>"Love is a battlefield..."</center>
