Why...WHY do all these women have a crush Tenchi? I can't seem to be able to grasp any resons to explain why. He's not even a bishy for crying out loud! I can only assume. Ryoko: 'Cause she's emotionally attached or something. Who am I to understand such an evil, heartless being? Ayeka: Because she has to keep the Royal blood..uh..bloody. Tenchi sucks. He's dull, has an annoying personality, and ugly. I think I know why Tenchi isn't a "smooth operator" when it comes to the ladies. I mean, it's not like he's had a lot of experience around women. He was even deprived of having his mom or grandma around. If you grew up with Noboyuki, I'm sure you wouldn't be exactly *normal*. But all the girls around him now make up for that loss. Maybe he doesn't pick just 1 because he subconsciously enjoys the company of so many. No no, that's not polygamist ideals, but who knows. There could be several reasons for tenci being the lucky bugger he is. Plot Sense; No women? Very boring and crappy plot. Anime Sense; 1) It's a woman thing, how they find some guys interesting is WAY beyond me and any other male. 2) He is possibly one of very few men the girls have seen who has qualities that women like in men. 3) He has a sword, makes him look dashing. 4) First piece of fluff any of the girls have had in a long time. 5) Tenchi's shy, which makes him hard to catch. Since most women have this hunting thing in them, they want to catch him and prove themselves that they are capable man hunters. 6) Just to piss their folks off. (Except Washu, who' just crazy.) Logical Sense; 1) KM got some kinky ideas (hey, it is Japan, land of the many consorts!) 2) KM did it to piss people like CA off. 3) To mess with our minds. 4) To influence one boy=many girls relationship 5) To give hope to boys like Tenchi. 6) To create something never seen before. 7) Something that would create a lot of analzying, and to keep the plot going. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/glasses.gif ALT="8)"> Just because he could and he had a artist/writing staff and nobody else did at the time.
