| Post subject: | Will there be more Tenchi animes.... |
...or are we stuck with Pretty Sammy? Don't care for the magical girl stuff other than Poemy....she rocks! (and kicks the other magical girl's butts for them; love that!) I keep hearing "Harem, harem, harem," but no show or manga to back it up. Yeah, from conception to screen is a really large disconnect. And it seems Tenchi has strayed from the origional women. What up? |

To be honest I haven't even watched the new OAV fully through yet, nor have I finished GXP. But I'd say that, judging how far apart these were from the older OAVs and TV series, we can count on some further iteration of Tenchi in the future (unless the 3rd OAV had a decisive ending or something; don't spoil it for me plz); but Tenchi is never going to be some series that releases a lot of material regarding it in a short amount of time, that heydey seems long gone. But then revivals of certain anime is kind of a fad in the anime industry at moment, so you never know... |
