Aw, but that would be so boring! I don't want to watch a show about two (or three) people who peacefully get together with Tenchi. Where's the excitement? Where's the conflict? But you're right, they are probably too mature to fight with each other. So as I suggested before...how about Washu and Mihoshi? They might not fight initially, but Mihoshi could probably drive Washu to violence eventually. But overall none of the other girls may be volatile enough to lend themselves well to an entertaining triangle. So while I wouldn't mind other triangles or even enjoy them, I think the classic Tenchi Ayeka Ryoko triangle is the best. You can't just beat a spoiled princess and a space pirate duking it out.

T/R/A is not classic>.> T/R/A is New Coke. The love polygon is the classic. Fighting all the time would not lend to an entertaining show. I like how Washu pwns them in episode 7, in getting Tenchi. Or how Washu/Sasami ends up sleeping with Tenchi, while the two girls are left out of the room. Although Washu/Mihoshi might be entertaining. |
