09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.
I was wondering if anyone has this and how is it?

www.amazon.com/exec/obido...UJUY3HAI30

Favorite Animes
1. It's pretty comprehensive stat wise....although other than that it's pretty standard......no wonderfull battle system or whatever.....amusing though.....

For Anime Characters you love to hate! ^^[/center]

I've got that!

Yes there are a lot of good images in there. It tries its best to make the statistics about the characters make sense in terms o numbers.

There are lots of good images which appear to be colorized concept art. I'd say that the best thing about it are the pictures. Some good background information. I got a lot of the information for the main page from the book actually.

The game itself is decent. Its a bit more abstract than most role playing systems. Its based on the "Big Eyes, Long Legs" role playing system which makes it compatible with that. I also had borrowed the Sailor Moon RPG which uses the same system so you can mix anime characters together.

Since the game is quite open ended, its best if its used with a DM who's designed an anime type story to go along with the anime characters. So when creating ideas for your players, try to keep a mindset of an anime series. The players would preferably be hardcore anime fans, there is room for exploitation by players who are number crunchers. If they're not willing to not be competetive and just enjoy the game they'll have a good time.

I'd say overall the book, if you're a big Tenchi fan such as myself, you'll enjoy it. The images in it are great, and it gives al ot of insight into many of the characters. Providing small pieces of information that was not obvious by watching the series. And its good to see how the character's powers can be compared on a balanced level. I say buy it you'll probalby enjoy it, even if you don't play the game.

"God's in his heaven and all is right with the world"
- Nerv
Tenchi Muyo, No Need for a Homepage
