I was stumbling across the internet when I found some news on 2 new Tenchi series. I think Saint Knight Story has a totally different cast of characters... I'm not sure about the details, most the news going around now is unofficial. Actually, to get technical, "Saint Knight Story" is old news. It was announced way back in the interview with Kajishima-san in 2001 or so, but he wanted to finish GXP and OVA 3 first, so no one paid it a lot of attention, over here at least. It's an anime sort of like "Dual," in another universe but set in the whole Tenchi theme. All of the characters are different but it stars Tenchi's half-brother from the main Tenchi OVAverse. I don't know if it's a half-brother from a former union with Kiyone Masaki, Nobuyuki and his current wife (in which case the time line would have to be moved forward 15 years or so, which I don't think Kajishima-san will do . . . it could be inconvenient to future concepts to give away hints) Nobuyuki and a former wife/union, or Kiyone Masaki and a union after her supposed "death," which she really survived. It's supposed to be a world in which giant mecha are powered by steam, and that's about all I know about it (except that it'll probably follow Kajishima-san's usual pattern of anime).<br><br>As for the Pretty Sammy thing, that's new to me. Does anyone know if it's going to be set in the OVA continuity or the TV continuity, or a brand-new continuity? <p></p><i></i>

Just so everyone understands, ALL of Kajishima-sensei's titles are "linked at the corner". I believe he described them as being alternate universe's. "Dual!" gives a good view of that since there were two univere's shown in that anime. ON THE OTHER HAND, Nobuyuki and Rea do get married and in GXP, it is revealed that Rea is pregnant. So that may be Tenchi's half-brother.<br><br>AlphaSlinger -- not to spoil your bubble, but the purpose of TM!R isn't the Tenchi-Aeka-Ryoko love-triangle. That's an easy trap to fall into and I've done it myself a long time ago. When you limit it to just Ryoko and Aeka, you forget Sasami-chan, who loves Tenchi, not just as a brother figure, but she does have a crush on him and goes WAY out of her way to take care of him. You forget Mihoshi who goes all gooey at the thought of being with Tenchi (episode 5 & 7 spring immediately to mind not to mention stuff revealed in OAV 3). You forget Washu who tried engage Tenchi in sexual activities (episode 7) and turned into adult form in with a semi-serious offer to start a family with Tenchi (episode <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START 8) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/glasses.gif ALT="8)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> . She too keeps a close eye on Tenchi.
