What did you think of OAV3?

I wouldn't call it crappy anime, just that it didn't seem to go along with the first two OVA series well. By itself I guess its OK, but when next to the first two OVA's, I didn't like it. And it was missing a lot of the original voice cast. That really bugged me, especially with Ryoko.

one simple reason for me not liking it was the same as paintdawg.
i just couldnt watch take the voice change for ryoko.
nufin wrong with the voice actor, she did a great job.
but im just too used to Petrea.

i dont see how watching it in another language would solve my problem lol.
as id still rather the wrong English voice actor to a Japanese one.

also the plot and whole story in OVA3, like you said is just bullocks.
ive watched the series once in JAP and once in ENG and both times it left
me feeling empty and pissed off at the end so i dont think im
giving it another chance.

im re-reading the NONEED mangas again atm. NOW im really enjoying that.
thats how it should have been done.
Hitoshi Okuda did a fantastic job of em.

Yeah, the peak of the characters' powers suddenly rose to unimagineable levels, and Ryoko's new voice actress did such a job so horribly done that believing that it was the same ultra-cool rowdy space pirate of the past was like believing that Vickie Guerrero is better than Amy Dumas. And if you are also a wrestling fan as well as a Tenchi fan, like myself, you know exactly what I mean.
