Well, you have some good points. But, I just decided to look back into things, see which was made at which time and whatnot, and both actually came out in Japan 1997. Moreover, Shin's first episode actually debuted on April 1st, and the movie was released August 8th. So if anything, I'd say Eve stole certain elements from Shin.

Good point, but wasnt Hasegawa-sensei's 10th novel around before shin tenchi muyo? i cant find an exact date (so i very well maybe wrong) but that would suggest what i said earlier if so

UPDATE: According to ANB's FAQ, she started her novels in 1993, so i'm assuming hers was first as i dont think it took her 4 years to release 10 novels, as again i cant find a specific date for each novel

Good call Dagon. I'd have to ask Rolf about the release date, but I'd say the novel came before Tenchi in Tokyo.

If it was published before april 1st, its a MnE > TiT , if after its the other way around (my comp wont let me go there, malicious script etc, etc) so was it?

I have scans of this novel. I actually have 13 of Hasegawa's novels scanned. The only one that mentions a year is page - perhaps there's a month mentioned there, I dunno, it's in blasted Japanese. >_>

Its definetly in 97, however, since i cant read a lick of japanese, i dont know when exactly, btw, everything after Ryoko and Aeka looking melancholy is broken, great scans though

Era 9, according to Wiki, that's 1997.

I think the Web site does need a little reinvigorating.. many parts of the site are dated. None of OVA3's characters are there either.
