when was the original tenchi ran (or any series for that matter) on tv/ cable/ satalite? i have no clue and the show is looking so damn familiar to me now that i've been watching it? |

It started on July 3rd, 2000 on Cartoon Network. I believe it ended somewhere in 2003. |

ok. I thought that tenchi was much older than 2000 for some reason? when it ended must have been about the time I had really started to watch bebop and trigun. i must have caught a glimpse of it in there some where! ^_^ ps: Trigun and Bebop are awesome! |

The show itself started in 1995, I think. 2000 was when it first ran in the states on Cartoon Network. Maybe it seems "much older" than 2000 because 2000 sometimes feels like yesterday as opposed to 8 years ago, which in all actuality it is. |

would you guys recommend for me to watch Tenchi universe? I've only seen the first set. If so we should make a compilation of movie links for shows on the web to make life easier for all who wish to view via internet! ^_^ that is all. |

I'm not going to pretend that I found it anywhere as good as the OAV, but I think you could do a lot worse than TU compared to other anime. So by all means watch it. Besides the OAV, I also recommend the Mihoshi Special for the first appearance and closest appearance she'll make in the OAV. The Pretty Sammy shows (two series so far) are not bad if you are so inclined. The first movie, TMiL, with Achika - I found to be the best. As for links, they are easy enough to find on google... |

So for run times it goes in this order? OAV Tenchi muyorio ryo-oh-ki movie 1? Tenchi Universe Movie 2? Tenchi in tokyo? IDK thats my guess please correct me if possible? |
