Seikishi Monogatari is the japanese name. Masaki Kajishima, the CO-creator of Tenchi Muyo OAV1, has decide to expand even more on the Tenchi-verse. He talked about it in that back in January 2001. I figured it wouldn't be made because how GXP or OAV3 sold and that it's been so long. I mean, you could already see the budget for OAV3 was cheap and not a priority for AIC by the horriblely cheap art (extended moving mouth syndrome, bad Ryo-ohki CGI) but I suppose this thing will be made. Too bad, I was hoping it would die quietly. MK released a doujin at Comiket and it features the leading character, Tenchi's little brother and some girl. Here is what you can probably figure: -it will be a harem anime -this dork named Kenji, who looks like the love child of Tenchi and , will get all the girls (in his anime) -the dork will be a young guy as they are in all MK anime -it will have the formula of a guy being dominated by the girls, will seemingly not be impressive, near the climax displays outstanding power, trait, or ability -it's based on mecha in an alternative universe if it kept to that story -it'll probably be the child of Nobuyuki and Rea -all the atypical major girl types will be there just like all of MK's animes --the girl who loves him right off the bat --the childhood friend who has feelings --the loud mouth, probably wild one --the clutzy type --the intelligent type --the shy one --the lolicon type --the mature one *types are not mutually exclusive and two traits may be mixed for variation It supposedly is going into production. I have no clue whether this will be a mercifully short OAV (probably, GXP was MK's first TV show) that may be killed off after a few episodes or a long, drawn out TV show like GXP. MK's one strong suit, being the actual character designer, will not apply to anything but the protagonist -- usually the least memorable character to many people. Does he make the story or just the outline? Is he in charge? I don't know. It could be good or bad. The rest of the manga is a continuation of a previous one with the story of Noike coming to earth. I'd digg it up, but that was an unremarkable story, except that Noike is getting sexually molested by Tenchi's grandmother and sister, Airi and Tennyo, in a sadistic and unappealing bath scene. You see, since OAV3, all his OAV3 doujin's that come out either focus incessantly on Ryoko's relationship with little kid form Ryo-ohki where they have her teasing Ryo-ohki and Ryo-ohki gets mad and beats her up (I thought she was a more reasonable character as a cabbit). Or they "explained" the utterly confusing (Misaki/counteractor, Girl Kagato in OAV3). Recently, it was Noike having sex with Tenchi in some unspecified time in the future and now 2 doujins (about 2 get released a year) about her being sexually molested by the rest of Tenchi's family. None of the other girls count for jack anymore. Meanwhile, GXP got like 5 books written about it by him:/ Oh, here's the cover of Saint Knight's Story: |

Yet another example of why anything he's done after the OVA 3 interview should simply be discarded as another program rather than be considered part of the Tenchi Muyo lore. |

The Noike-goes-at-it-with-Tenchi doujin where I really broke as an former MK fan. I was told that Tsunami was the one girl that he protected and seemed to treat Tsunami with great respect - that he never made ecchi (nude) pictures of her -- and in that doujin he turned a teenage Sasami into a voyeur, watch Noike/Tenchi at it, and then go into the great outdoors to "relieve" herself - with her ass up pointed to the sky where anyone would have seen her like a mile away (her room not good enough for that?) Then Sasami narrowly escapes being caught by Tenchi's four year old dork brother, sickening>:( I couldn't even make this garbage up if I tried. Woo-hoo, Noike stole the Tenchi crown. Aeka gets ignored. The one animated continuity where Mihoshi was a little independent and smart (just absentminded), she gets completely subjugated by Noike and turned into a complete imbecile. Washu is Noike's #1 f-ing cheerleader and cupid to get those two together. And Ryoko is pissing herself to answer the door or face anyone. The only worse character than Noike is Seto, this woman has issues - her tentacles are in everything and I don't know why I should care - Jurain politics were not the premise of the show. Even the goddesses can't escape this nutcase - which they should try because Seto is such a freak for girls ("Big sister" of Jurai) she'd probably want to sleep with her granddaughters Aeka and Sasami just for the hell of it - just like she keeps the Seto Scouts around. OAV3 wasn't too subtle that she personally sexually trained Noike (hands on, after adopting her as a daughter no less) and in the doujins, even Airi and Tennyo are having a turn trying her out. OAV3 was the last ticket out of koo-koo station and if you still weren't pushed away, Kajishima is trying his damnedest with recent doujins by showing you that this once family/romantic show is just a vehicle for plot twist shocks, "interesting" new women with no charm, showing you the old characters still shouldn't be paid attention to, and just inane plot advances. I just wished I would stop caring, because I hate seeing him kill an anime I loved more than any other piece by piece. Why can't he ruin something else for a while? Like his other crap shows that never took off. |

You gotta be kidding me, Rolf. Seriously. Is this guy warped? Does he honestly somehow think what he's doing here is throwing cartoon women at himself? Because that's the only possible explanation I have for whatever in the green hell is going on with this guy and what he's done to the Tenchi Muyo franchise. For God's sake, man. Now I'm pretty sure we all see what I mean when I say that I would much rather combine the first two OVAs with the two TV series than even count any of this UFOVA, Seina Muyo, St. Knight, any associated doujins crap at all. Now I pretty much have something automatic to go back to if and when I should ever land into a pit of Sakuya haters. It would pretty much go along the lines of, "You think Sakuya's horrible? Well at least she wasn't Kajishima's personal tool for completely raping the Tenchi franchise in the 21st century like Noike and Seto from that Unidentified Flying Overboard Video Avalanche he actually has the temerity to call OVA 3." |

Who would've thought one of the most powerful people in the MKverse was a royal MILF. Watch out, Big Sister is watching! Love the girl's hair style though (the one in the image). |

I'm sorry I'm still in shocked of Tenchi's grandmother and sister being raping lesbians... *shudders* And Seto is that freaky eh? Scary... I think the rest of my anime in me just died. This thing is like the the Roman Empire they tried to make it better my splitting it, but what happened? That's right the whole place either got swallowed up by barbarians or raped by Turks. It all fell apart like a stain window in church. Tenchi is doing the same thing. Let us just bask in the glory of OVA 1 &2 and that's it. |
