Okay, guys. You may or may not remember my DBZ/Tenchi crossover story Shift of Hearts, which I previously made a custom opening vid to using “Haruka Kanata”, the Naruto theme AKFG did, right? Turns out, I actually ended up making another one.

See, one day, not too long ago, Fullmetal Alchemist started sweeping through my mind somehow while I was surfing around YouTube, and I suddenly remembered this really cool opening theme that show once had. This obviously led me to look and find the song: “Rewrite”, another hit by AKFG which made it big with a popular anime. And yet another hit which I felt could actually fit with my story – though in a different way than “Haruka Kanata”.

You'll notice that there's a little bit more comedy and storytelling, and a little less action, in this opening – probably because the song itself calls for that. Also, there's a little more Bardock, a touch more Krillin, and even some of the Jurai royal family included. That's because later on in the story is when they started to get involved with the workings a bit.

The closing chord this time is struck by a slowed-down version of Good Charlotte's “Hold On”. This wasn't a wrestling theme or anything, nor did I see any AMVs of it. But just like last time, I needed a closer. Like I said, AKFG don't do well with those.

Also, if I ever get back to writing for that fic, which I hope to sooner than later, I might make another one using AKFG again, but I need a song from them that has that “end of the arc” feel beat-wise and is reasonably close to it lyrically. Bleach’s “After Dark” has the feel beat wise, but lyrically… let’s just say I’m trying to figure out how to theme it so it would come close.
