Actually its something that i missed and cant believe that i did

In the 101 questions, the infamous question 33 that was mistranslated showed me something that (well right now) seems important

When asked about expanding on the Tenchi OVA after 3 he says no, 1 through 3 is all about Tenchi and the Chousin goddesses and that he wont pick a single girl he preferes harem

We all know that part right?

well what came after is what i cant believe i missed, and almost face-palmed myself when i re-read it

Kajishima remarked about how the love triangle is not the center of the OVA-verse, and then talks about Sasami having more then just a brotherly love for Tenchi, and that when she "got older" He would like to expand on there love lives in a SERIES later on

Not Manga, Doujinshi or Novels, but a series, an animated OVA

Obviously there was no sequel intended for the *current* OVA-verse, but with Saint Knights Tale finished, I've got my fingers crossed that he will do that idea like he said

Granted its an old interview, and alots happened since then, but it also happened like he wanted, so am i hopelessly hoping for a new series? yes, but did it not come from his own mouth? you bet it did

I can only hope.

Hah. A girlfriend-of-the-week show with Tenchi? Sounds fun.

I personally would be kinda excited to see where he would take it, cuz i mean could he really ruin it?....(looks back at OVA3 *Shudders*) you know what, lets just hope he makes it and not think about what could happen, lol

An older Sasami yes, yes I hope for a new series such as that

I'd love to see them do this and explore a relationship with each of the girls, it would be interesting to see them all paired. They could even end it properly then, with Tenchi actually choosing a girl. or they could do a series for Ryoko or Washu. Like others, we can only hope that they explore the idea of expansion into the Tenchi multiverse.

My absolute biggest fear with that though is that he would bring all of the "current" Tenchi family into it IE Tennyo, Airi, Noike, etc and since Noike is now part of the group, he would waste time on her (i say waste because any length of time with just her and Tenchi is unbearable)

I wish he would find a way to creatively write out the new girls from the third OVA. I didn't care much for them, like we've said before they killed the family dynamic. They also made the house a little too crowded. we didn't need another girl anyways, it just took focus from regular characters, as you've mentioned many a time Dagon. I want to see Ayeka and Ryoko fight not meekly put their dishes away and clean up messes

However it may be completely worth it if they could get Petrea back, i've also said this before, had she been back, I would have been able to stomach OVA3 better, but shes no lap dog either, and it would be terrible too to have her play the sidelines

Petrea truly made Ryoko, her voice was perfect for the role. However, she'd definitely need to be thrown back into the thick of things. Having her as a meek wuss was no fun. She jumped anytime she heard Washu's name or even saw her, and she got slapped out. Not cool, the old Ryoko was too tough for that =P

I don't know, being afraid to answer the door was kinda funny.
