Cause she destroys stuff and kills people? That's a reason to love her? Wow. Just fucking wow. Powerful stupid. I think there are many reasons to love Ryoko and some have been duly noted in this thread, but that she was a galaxy destroyer hardly ranks as one. |

That's not really her fault though. I mean, she was under Kagato's power. We were shown that he could directly control her actions by "possessing" her using the gems. Even if he wasn't directly controlling her 100% of the time, it's not exactly like Kagato was a good influence and sitting down with her and explaining morals and that killing people was bad. Especially since he was having her kill people and destroy things for him. She didn't know any other life. |

I'm sure Ryoko isn't too proud of some of the chaos she caused under the control of Kagato. She didn't have a normal upbringing either so she most likely never had a good role model to teach her proper values. But I don't really mind all that, when things come down to the wire Ryoko has shown she can make the right choice, and she genuinely cares about Tenchi, enough that she risked death for him. She is by no means a perfect person but that makes her much more likeable, "our imperfections are the traits that make us perfect" |
