Despite the "mishaps" Tenchi didn't seem too happy when all the girls left, I'm guessing that he enjoys the excitement at least a little. Better then going to school and sweeping the shrine all the time eh? |

This is never more emphasized then in TinT, When he thought getting away would make him happier, when in turn it was the chaos and the girls that he loved the most. |

I wouldn't say that at ALL. He abused all of them until he realized Sakuya was fake - and refused to believe there was any trouble when Ayeka tried to convince him. The only reason he went back to Okayama was because he didn't want to be in a place that reminded him of her. |

He was willing to go back to Okayama when Washu asked him, Sakuya just had to throw a fit about it, and he knew he had treated everyone wrong, he realized this when Katsuhito told him about his origins and Washu showing him Sakuya's origins, he felt terribly bad, and the very last scene in the show where everyone is freaking out in the tree and Tenchi laughing and the good music going on and showing him happy, emphasizes this is his life, this is what he loves, the craziness of the girls, not ONE single girl |
