Well, things come and go, I'm sure most of them have each other's emails and so on, so they themselves aren't lost at sea in the ocean of internet groups.
And Tenchi doesn't seem that popular with many of the anime groups I've encountered. My sister is the otaku fiend, so through her I meet some real 'fans' *cough*dorks*cough*
Kidding, I'm a bigger nerd than they are, NEVER SHOW YOUR HAND TIL THE CHIPS ARE DOWN!/tangent Tenchi doesn't seem nearly as big as other animes popularized in America, from what I've seen, so either the popularity is falling, which is natural as newer things are introduced to younger crowds (ie Tenchi replaced something some parents may have found interesting) OR it just wasn't as popular as we thought, and we may in fact be the only people putting it up on a pedestal. I know I do. Really the only anime I watch and everyone gets an earful as soon as someone brings up anything Japan related
