I hate Yosho. Airi deserves somebody so much better then him. He cheats on her, then leaves her stuck with a kid for 700 years. What an !@#$%^&.

Hence why I don't feel that bad making an AiriXTenchi story. Yosho will deal, he always finds a way to rebound and put the heat on Tenchi...

I'm almost done with Chapter 1. But it's slow going. The inspiration is fleeting....

About that kiss, that is Tenchi's first kiss in the OAV:D I always wondered if that was Airi's personality or what?

The hardest thing about the fic is that Tenchi is on earth, Yosho been on earth for 700 years I assume, and Airi has been on Jurai much of the time in the beginning until Yosho contacted her, and one assumes at least some of the time there and on earth until Kiyone died, and then back to Jurai...

Which makes me question: is Airi in space because she wants to be, to protect her grandson from the family secret, or is she broken up by her daughter's death? What if her jovial attitude towards it masks a deep pain that's never been addressed?

What is that saying about the pain of outliving your kids? It's a pain one should never be made to feel? (Maybe she and Washu have a bond this way).

This is the most thoughtful response to my board in quite some time, I cannot thank you enough for your thoughts in Gchat and in here, Jibri. This has given me a valuable insight that I will cherish as i struggle to make this story a reality.

Maybe but there is one misconception, Airi did not have kid right away. She put Minaho is test tube for a while and then bore her for some reason while Yosho was stil away and unreachable.

Maybe Yosho is source of pain for everybody

-minaho
-etcetera

I also bet he causes Funaho-ki pain XD That why it wanted Tenchi as new master, like in that one Omega Tsunami story where Tsunami tells Tenchi that Funaho like having him around, probably Funaho-ki also hate having Yosho around XD
