Aza, er, Asu, er, wait....Azusa(had to scroll up)'s name has the kanji for "husband," "master," or "shop keeper" in it. which meaning applies to him? of course, the old "in-group" word for husband IS 'master' although it is being replaced with a more PC term which escapes me now. because i like referring to my husband as 'master' in japanese class. it horrifies the radical leftist educated kiddies. lmao

A lot of the Tenchi names were derived from a prior meaning, Like Asuza being "Master", or Tenchi being "Heaven and Earth" or "Divinity" kinda cool how they did that
