The Idol does not possess material conversion. He was merged with Fuku, and that gave it a lot of power, but in no way does that mean the mech could perform material conversion. Material conversion is what Tenchi does when he turns his Light Hawk Wings into body armor and a sword. It's what the Chousin do when they create entire universes. The abilities The Idol possessed before and after its merger with Fuku isn't really anything that Z couldn't do. Z could move about the dimensions with ease it seemed. The Idol also didn't make a black hole, it just pulled the ships out of hyperspace. To be honest, I found the The Idol in GXP to be ridiculous. It kinda ruined the show for me in the end. At first I liked it, but when they merged it with Fuku and had all those wings, it just rubbed me the wrong way. It had like what 10 wings? That's ridiculous. The whole Fuku can merge with any Juraian tree or seed pissed me off so much. Like Jurai really needs all that damn power. To hell with Jurai! Let them all burn. Let's chop the Royal Trees down and use them for toilet paper and firewood. The Juraian Empire is an evil thing. |
