You assume that Hakubi would know about AIC stopping their rentals, but Hakub most likely did not. I only figure it out after noting that there were no llinks to rental sites for the last three eps. I doubt that AIC announce the change in english, and may not have done so in Japanese. Most likely all Habubi might have known is that the HD RAW were not available for some reason. Given such a lack of information, I for one would not make any statement that people would construde as a promise. I do remember the problems funimation had when they were force to suspend OVA 3 releases half way through the series. |

I'm not up on what the Hakubi group is doing, but I've been part of fansubber communities in the past and Shadow does have some good points. There are any number of reasons why delays might occur, all of them legitimate. If people continue to moan and complain about slow releases, Hakubi may interpret that as the "thanks" for all of the work that they have done so far. Should you guys succeed in pissing them off, they may decide to throw in the towel and walk away from SKT altogether. Be respectful of the service they are providing or go learn Japanese. |

Well I'm not trying to complain, because they do an excellent job, I'm a big supporter of them. I just want them to do a better job of communicating, posting a quick message saying "Hey guys, having trouble getting a hold of the raws so the next episode is going to be delayed." doesn't take more than a minute and would be enough for most people. They don't have twitter every little thing but it wouldn't hurt to get an update here and there. Obviously some people are going to feel a sense of entitlement and are going to complain on their site, but they'd avoid some of that if they'd just keep people informed. Yeah, they aren't going to be able to predict the delays, but if they happen a friendly note is all it would take. Heck, I can't say enough how much I appreciate the work they're doing, especially since no one else has stepped forward to pick it up to the extent they have (aside from Sora and Muyo subs, they're it). |

I understand the feeling of being frustrated by the slowness of the subs. At the same time, I can understand why it's getting delayed. Much like how the rental version has been canceled, at the same time, when there is only one group, you're at the mercy of any issues that could be happening behind the scene. That being said... We should also be glad that Hakubi is there to sub the series. Delayed or not, at least someone is translating it. Unlike say a Naruto or an Haruhi, which is so popular that it garners multiple sub groups, Isekai gets one. While I love the series, I can sort of understand why it isn't garnering multiple sub groups. Isekai, while I think it's popular, isn't popular to the extent of the previously mentioned series. Heck, before Hakubi, it was frustrating because the subgroups that did pick it up, all dropped for one reason or another. So while I'm not saying we shouldn't be concerned and just 'take it' (like someone said, Hakubi could have at least said something like "We had trouble getting the best raw. Sorry for the delay") we shouldn't also be ultra critical and flame them either. |

They're various characters from the series, the most recent two are villains and the majority of the rest are the girls from the school. Since the final episode aired, the Washu No Makutsu site has been posting one picture on the photo blog section daily, which is great, because it's VERY tough to find much fan art of the series at this point. |
