How did power level come into this topic? Is Tenchi going to have the women fight to the death for the right to be his bride? Who cares who's strongest? Personally, I've always liked that Ryoko is a tough underdog.  She may be weaker than some of the other goddess characters, but like Kamidake said, not even over 9000 knights could match her spirit.

well, what i said wasn't even a deconstruction of the show or any character. i was simply stating that the most entertaining character to watch (Ryoko) would be the best choice for the anime in terms of continuity. i very much doubt Ryoko would stick around if Tench chose another girl, therefore the writers would have to write her out somehow, in which case i wouldn't watch the show any more. i think that's a fairly simple truth for most others too. |
