I liked some of his stories. Actually, I liked a lot of his stories, but it's true that some characters were pushed into the sidelines. All in all, though, I think he tried to give each character their own story, if he's the author I'm thinking of... |

From what little I've read of Okuda's Tenchi universe, it was ok, nothing special. I've only been able to read vol.1,9, and 10, of his New Tenchi Muyo Manga. I do feel that it had a better ending then OVA 3. |

I thought it was pretty good, overall. the artwork wasn't great, but definetly better than OAV 3 in which our beloved characters resembled the rats from the secret of nimh. best of all were the stories, however. there were a few too many pratfall comedy devices, but some really well thought out plotlines involving character development and a few new and interesting characters. Minagi, i must say, is how Okuda imagines a perfect Ryoko. ann |
