How I would have done the OVA 3:
Tenchi and Ryoko would have gotten married. :D

The other girls would still live with them, but they would hook up amongst themselves and be happy. Kiyone, Nagi and Ken-ohki would also be worked into the OVA cast. Nagi could be an undercover bounty hunter who moves in nearby or something like that. Kiyone would take over Noike's role (Noike wouldn't exist) and of course be over 9000 times more awesome. Though I wouldn't leave in the fiancee plotline, since Ryoko and Tenchi would already be happily married. She could just be Mihoshi's partner who got stranded and is now living with the gang.

One of the things that I hated about OVA3 was the way the characters looked. If I was doing OVA3, I'd have the characters look like they did in the first two OVAs.

Tenchiman, that has to do with animation processes unfortunately. The super-glossy look is in, thanks to digital inking. If I had my way it'd be hand-drawn too.

Though they way overdid it - seriously, did we need chibi in Tenchi?

One other thing that I'd change is the Nobuyuki/Rea relationship.
I hate the fact that Rea is this character that has been friends with Tenchi's family for a longtime, and yet we've only first heard about her in OVA3. She feels like a bad fanfiction character.
