Jib, how can u ignore/misinterpret such an obvious theme in the movie. The love that Tenchi and Haruna have isnt real. its a dream world. created by her.
the whole point of the movie is his realization of that and his subconscious attempts to escape from that fake world and relationship. drawing pictures of ryo, having flash backs
of her and the other girls - the ones he truly loves. its clearly a love story. just maybe not in the traditional sense. the smooching in the film is just to make the story all the more
heart wrenching. however i suspect u were sorta trolling with that "smooching" comment, if so FFFUUUU, if not, u've missed the point.
also its still all about him and ryo. ryo saves him in the end. she goes to get him and he takes
her hand even though hes not entirely sure yet. its him and ryo standing there at the end of the film. no one else. even ayeka seems to be at peace with it as shes not freaking out
like she usually does "wheres ryoko! shes probably with tenchi!" *RAGE* *RAGE* *RAGE*
and u pull dagon up about relevance! how is the manga even relevant at all? its a comic. its on a completely different media. isnt this thread supposed to be about the films? so what ever
arguments u bring up from that manga are pointless anyway. they arnt in the film, so they have nothing to do with it.
