09/12/2014: My previous attempt at renaming the directory to foil the spambots did not work. I'm trying now to change the login information for the SQL database. There may be a little bit of downtime but it shouldn't take long.
09/11/2014: I've been having problems with spambots preventing legit users from being able to sign up correctly. I've tried changing the directory from bbs to forums. Hopefully that will stop them and I can remove the retrictions stopping real users from signing up. Sorry if some of your bookmarks have become broken. They can be fixed by replacing bbs with forums in the properties.

Okay I like to think I got a pretty good grasp on most of the story lines of the Tenchi series. I have one lingering question. Now I have been unable to find a picture of it but I think you all will know what i'm talking about. My question is this. Where in the world did that floating bathhouse come...you all know the one. The one that just magically appears in the first series, makes a second appearence in the Ryo-oki collection, and the one that has a brief moment in the second movie. This is the same same bath in each occurence, now it appeared much too soon in the first series to be a result of Washu's. And i'm pretty it didn't come from Ayeka's ship. So again I ask you all. Where did it come from?
Ryoko made it in the OVA. She really liked Tenchi's aunt's onsen, so she made the floating one when she got back to the house using some technology from Washu. (Though at the time she didn't know Washu made it.) It's in the Tenchi 101 questions. It would have been nice to see an explanation for it in the series though.

yeh, it was a question i had hanging in my mind for a while too. the OVA can be so vague about things like this. but i suppose this is really part of the shows intrigue in the first place. you sorta have to fill in a lot of the back story ur self.

Well, if it's the same thing I'm thinking of, she could build anything that Washu has inputted the specifications for. Anyone could if they know how to.

Well, my assumption, based on what I remember, is that the technology used to create the onsen is the same as the one Washu used later to produce the milk suppliments for Taro.
