I think the best thing to do is just break it down.

The core of this doesn't really need to consider the other girls...We can just look at this purely from how Ayeka and Ryoko influence each other's chances.

To be fair, I'll bring up Ayeka first - Ryoko obviously brings out the worst in her. Their arguments obviously edge Tenchi away. However, Ayeka's much more reserved, in any case - And that could be a significant advantage. I don't think she really has a "Misaki side" or "Funaho veneer"...I think she's genuinely like how she presents herself.

However, with how demure she is, combined with Tenchi's oblivious nature (Seriously, he seems pretty oblivious to me), it'd either take quite a long time for their real feelings to surface, or they might never just come out and admit their feelings. And then, if her family were to visit, that's a whole 'nother can of worms...As a note, she was heading to Earth anyways, in search of Yosho; I'm pretty sure it just took about seven-hundred years to get there from Jurai.

But then, there's Ryoko...Generally the same as Ayeka. However - Based on the first OVA - She's held some kind of affections towards Tenchi for much longer. Like someone mentioned before, I think they'd balance each other - Ryoko would bring out Tenchi's fun side, and Tenchi would mellow Ryoko out. However...Unless Tsunami were to take affirmative action with a Kagato scenario, we have a dead Tenchi and Ryoko likely brainwashed again.

Really...It's only because Ryoko and Ayeka are rivals that either has a good chance. Because, knowing the kind of scenarios they face, they've really helped each other. In the end, while I honestly hope Ryoko ends up with Tenchi instead of Ayeka...It's safe to say that, eventually, they'll all settle to be friends, or a Tenchi Solution. Which is, essentially, instead of choosing one girl...He chooses all of the girls.
