So this topic is all about our favourite songs/themes/ whatever in the Various Tenchi Series :3

I adore the second OVA theme song, I am a Pioneer '^_^ The full version is great and so upbeat. And I see it as Sasami's song.

The Third Ova Opening them has to be my favoruite of all the openings though. I just love it, I don't know why it appeals to me so much, since it could be considered boring compared to the rest! Maybe it's because I set it as the song for my iPod to play through my docking station to wake me up in the morning. It's such a lovely song to wake up too :3

Oh and the Tenchi In Tokyo theme is great. As is the Saint Knights Tale one. I'm not keen on the ending theme to Tenchi in Tokyo, but I like the Saint Knights Tale ending alot.

Not only did Tenchi have a cast of wonderful characters, but imho has one of the best (if not the best) Anime soundtracks of all time (even OVA3), each theme played instantly brings you right back to where it was played in the anime, with a huge rush of Nostalgia

I mean I love all the songs and clips that play, but whenever I hear these, it instantly brings me back to the good old days, back before they were gods, before the story took itself too seriously and there was an adventure around every corner, thats the Tenchi I love the most, and this music represents that ^_^

Aw, what a fun topic.

I love all the Tenchi music! But if I had to choose, these are my favorites.

1. Picnic of Lanterns is one of my all time favorites. The song reminds me of a summer evening.

2. Ryoko's theme. Best theme in the whole series.

It's so fun and bouncy and I feel it really captures her personality well.

3. Memories. This song played during one of the saddest moments in Universe, when Ryoko was begging Tenchi not to go fight Kagato.

4. Ryoko's Kind Call. Played while Ryoko was playing with Ryo-ohki. It's such a cute little song:

5. I Love Tenchi. Played in Universe when everyone got back from the Time Space adventures and Tenchi tossed an apple to Ryoko. (Is it sad that I know exactly when most of the songs played from memory? XD Well, at least all the songs that played during Ryoko scenes.)

6. Dimension of Love. For obvious reasons. XD

7. Universe's TV theme. It's kind of cheesy, but I like it. XD

8. Lonely Moon. Good song.

And that's all of them..though I could probably go on to include I Am A Pioneer, Talent for Love, ect. XD But I want to leave the list short.

Tenchi has some of the best music! <3 The English songs are sorta cheesey, but they're forever lovable! I listened to the dub songs cd over and over and over as a kid... I'm surprised the thing is still alive! lol, but really, so many of those songs are special to me.

1. I'm A Pioneer - Toonami never played this.. When I got a Tenchi VHS[SO LONG AGO!], I heard it for the first time.. Instant love! I know all the words to this day.. It's so upbeat, it just makes me smile without fail.
2. The Lonely Moon - This song is so pretty and sad at the same time. I love the lyrics so much.
3. Dimension Of Love - THIS SOOOONG~ Guh, I watched that scene in Universe so many times just to hear it! It always fills me with emotion. <3 And reminds me of Tenchi/Ryoko~
4. Talent For Love - It's catchy, upbeat, and sweet!
5. Tenchi Universe Theme/Love Will Leave You Crying - I also first heard this on an old VHS! And it's totally awesome, period.

As for bgm stuff.. It's all so good! I love the upbeat themes and the sad ones.. I've always really loved Ryo-Ohki's Theme! It's so cute. And that "Autumn Of Life" song from Universe.. I can barely listen to it. I start to remember the scene it played in, and get all sad.. ;_;

I always liked the Tenchi Universe theme. I've also always liked Mayuka's theme. Also like the Tenchi Muyo! GXP themes.
