I love, for the most part, everyone in the cast..from Tenchi Muyo, through Universe and..to a somewhat lesser degree, Tokyo However, though im not a fan of Sakurya (sp?) or Yugi or her henchmen, I put them all above Noike in fact, I think OVA 3 was one of the biggest dissapointments I had felt at that time. There were just way too may characters pulled out of left field for, really no good reason I can think of. I think how ova 3 went about the story with Tokimi and all that was just horrid..its as if they felt they needed to introduce characters and random events to explain or lead up to the encounter when..really they didnt anyways, back to Noike.. She doesnt have as funny responses to Mihoshi as Kiyone, I didnt like how she just started to run the house like it was hers, I didnt even like the design of her(though I think she was better drawn then the guy that duals tenchi at the end of ova 2) over all I would say all the characters and the story itself really took a nose dive with ova 3 |

*shivers* i cryed when i heard ryoko's new voice...dont get me wrong i love mona marshall...but her voice doesnt not suit ryoko at all! and i hated how in GXP they had another ryoko! what a fake...dont get me wrong again..Ryoko balta is a pretty face but still...cmon! At least have a name that isnt taken already! >< |

Hmmm... ...Criticism of characters... - Ryoko gets beat up far too much. She needs to learn how to control her mouth so that doesn't happen. - Ayeka is far too snobbish and spoiled, and it's a bit irritating how easily she gave up on her looove for Yosho that led to her changing her hair and running away from Jurai and getting herself stranded on the only planet in the Universe that has wars against itself. - Sasami... ... ...She's okay. - Ryo-Ohki, mya, mrow mya myaaa, myaaa, myaaa, cawwot, har-harvest, mya! She's cool too. - Mihoshi has the capability to be awesome more often, but while her veil of stupidity is endearing, it'd be nice to see her awesome side more often. - Washu's pretty fun...But her mistreatment of Ryoko in 13.5 was a big faux pas on the creators' part. No real need for it, and it really hurt the development she made up until then. All of that build-up about her being a 'compassionate scientist', not like Clay or Kagato...And then, she makes her own daughter cry and tapes it. ... Sooo...Yeah. Really, it's because the characters all have their better traits, as well as their flaws...I would have liked Sasami better if she showed her mischeivious side more often. Calling Tenchi a 'naughty boy' was pretty awesome, though. XD It's because of a characters flaws that we appreciate their finer points...For instance. Ryoko is overly confrontational, and it's really her fault she ends up with so many new characters beating her up - But it's her genuine love for Tenchi that makes me favor her. ...I think that's it. |
