The Kiyone Shrine Thread

The rules for shrine threads:

Rule #1 - One and Only One Shrine Thread per character. It may only be dedicated to one character. It needs to have "Shrine" in the title.
Rule #2 - No criticism or degradation of said character in the shrine. Either through words or pictures. At the same time, it's not to be used as an unrelenting bash thread against other people or characters.
Rule #3 - These three rules must be posted at the beginning of the thread so people know.

Kiyone is one of my favorite charaters:)

I don't dislike Mihoshi, but at the same time, I don't see them together as absolutely essential. I don't see them apart as absolutely essential either. Whatever they prefer. But since her Time & Space Adventure, I have always been curious how Kiyone would fare alone. The ending of the Mihoshi Special also implies this as well.

Even though her original character had a crush in the Hasegawa novels, it would be interesting in the anime to see her as the one girl Tenchi HAD TO CHASE as a premise for a love story. Much more than yet another girl X series.

I have always loved Kiyone, she has been a strong upright character and one of the best things about the Tenchi Universe series handdown. A calm, cool, collected soul - she has been one of the few Tenchi characters to not really show an interest in Tenchi. I kinda like that about her.

But regarding Jibri's offsite question to me: I would have to say that I think Kiyone would make a fantastic wife for Tenchi. With her wits always kept about her, she would be ready in romance or in turmoil to answer come what may.

Same here. She's the most beautiful-normal-Earth-girl-looking one in the house (the others either not quite as good-looking or not quite as passable for normal on Earth), on top of being that levelheaded girl in the building. Her lack of overt interest in Tenchi is a unique factor inside the house that ANYTHING can develop from. She serves as the foil that makes Mihoshi hilarious as well as actually develops both their personalities all at once. And let's face it, despite the lack of mega super powers, she's what you call a B³ - a beautiful badass babe.

Kiyone Makibi, you just made my day.

It is her Evil Kiyone. Flipmonkey just did some pictures for her, but she created the character.

She even cosplayed as Evil Kiyone.....

Idk if this always bears out in the anime, but Kiyone appears to be the tallest girl in the main cast, with the possible exception of the Goddesses:
