I think Aeka is soft and gentle inside. I like the idea of Sasami calling her Queen and Washu will give Aeka the reigns in their relationship, but Aeka would never hurt her Shu-Shu. Overall, that video magnified the bad points of Aeka that TU invented in order to make her an unsympathetic bitch. It's also clear in the video that Tenchi preferred Ryoko and Aeka was reacting to it, and I don't like that at all!  Aeka's presence is a priviledge, not a burden>.<

The whole video is supposedly a joke, but if you watch Ayeka in the series, she does seem to have a lot of binding moves, and likes to torture people (such as with Ryoko). So I'm really wondering if it's not as much of a joke as they would have us believe it is. Plus Juraian women all seem to be very headstrong and domineering to begin with. Seto alone certainly makes a strong case FOR the whole whips and chains thing, but Funaho and Misaki seem to be domineering in their own way as well. Azusa is supposedly king, and yet he not only seems to be Seto's puppet, but also seems to be cowed by his wives as well. The galaxy on the whole seems to be female dominated. Seto, Airi, Mikami, The Chousin, so on and on. Hell Mikami though only the Principle of the GP Academy was able to demote her brother from Marshal of the GP to Chief of Maintenance. And even though her brother is supposedly the head of the Kuramitsu Family (because Mikami didn't want to be) Mikami seems to be the one really pulling the strings. So in effect, he's as much his sisters puppet as Azusa is Seto's. Back to Azusa, it could said that he is a puppet ruler, and his wives are the real power on the throne, while Seto is the even realer power behind the throne. |

I think Aeka is gentle just by her demeanor. She hardly "tortures" Ryoko despite chasing 700 years after her and Ryoko practically asking for it. Just a quick zap of the Tenchi-ken. I could see Seto being a sadist. |

As the series went on, the ladies seem to get more and more dominating. TU they were more possessive than the original, and in Tokyo, they practically wanted to dictate Tenchi's every move. |

I think that Ayeka would try to dominate Tenchi, to keep up appearances, for at least a little while; he would play along until it got boring, when he would show Ayeka that what she really wants is to BE dominated, taking their relationship to the next level of trust and understanding |
