well here is a pic kajishima drew back in the 90's..and clearly noike is RIGHT there....so she must have been plan for some time....not necessarily copied of kiyone

Is that really Noike on the left? I know Noike was made before OAV3, in the 1990s. The general issue is if she was made before Kiyone Makibi. Also, I'm asking if that is her because "Mama", Sasami's caretaker in episode 9 looked so close to Noike it wasn't even funny. |

Well, that person on the picture above has human ears, so does "mama". Noike has more elfish ears. I think that Doujin cover is of someone else entirely but not sure. I never caught that Seto had face markings, but I assume it's just paint for now. Maybe Seto-Fan1 can track down the old thread where Noike was first introduced, he seems to like searching archives <.< |

According to translators like True Sheol, MK confirms in the doujin itself that the woman on the cover of that doujin is Noike. It is apparently the first time she was introduced. Though, that is a good observation about her elfin ears in OAV 3. |

Well, the colors in general look muted for all of them. Maybe the reason it's green is due to whatever color mix he used back in the 90s. Either that... or, while he planned for Noike, he had green as her hair color first. Changing to blue later on. |

Oddly the woman on the lower right of Ryoko looks like Misao's future fiancee Mashisu. Kajishima was likely planning to do Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki in the nineteen-nineties. This picture was likley part of his plans for OVA 3. The woman of the top Left of Ryoko has to be Lady Seto. Kajishima had only remove the tattoo off Seto. The woman of the lower left of Ryoko is still unknown. |

No, thats just Akara Naja http://www.astronerdboy.com/tenchi/naja.html I think this picture truly does represent Kajishimas idea of OVA3 and 4. We still need the Akara Naja/Seto storyline to conclude, as well as Mihoshi's past. The 2 things could be related to one story. In OVA 3 when Seto turns up at the household, I think Seto pretends to faint just to force an excuse for Washu to perform tests to make sure her disguise is working properly. |
