I know this is probably a crazy theory, but what if the world that Kenshi is in isn't real? What if it's all a big illusion by the Tenchi household to test him? In the first episode he was willing to kill Lashara just to get back home. Now that is clearly something Tenchi would never do or approve of. So could this world all be some grand illusion to test him or try and temper his "bad side"? Kenshi clearly has a dark, berserker side to him and is a gasket waiting to blow. All he's been doing now is bleeding off some anger. But he still seems to have a deep reservoir of anger left inside that's becoming harder to contain. All he's done so far just feels like icing on the cake. Kajishima does seem to be pointing to a much darker aspect of Kenshi then what we've seen so far.

It's an interesting possibility, though it falls under the "believe it when I see it" category.

I like the testing part but would want to keep a legitimate AU world -- that way when Minagi arrives, they can throw Ryoko in after Kenshi and shut the seal on them both XD

It's not fair to blame Ryoko for not dodging Kagato's grasp, even though, after the first time, you'd think she would eventually learn to do so.

Possible but not very intrigueing if true. Not everything should be a false yarn with levels of deception to the viewer. Not a fun gotcha.

I think if the house made Kenshi go through with an illusion, Washu would make it a bit more twisted at points so they would get more negative reactions out of him. A sort of way to force him in control of himself?
