I was also very curious as to if Yosho's shield was a light hawk wing, I was under the impression that Tenchi was the only one that could do that (aside from Z and supposedly Ryoko, though I dont know of an instance where she has) |

Well the theory is that It was a LHW, but this was being generated by Funaho-fune, which was right behind them during the fight by the way......notice how LHWs make that glow when hit.....but look transparent otherwise.....this is seen both in ep 5 from yosho, and episode 6 from Tsunami-fune and Tenchi |

Well, if Tenchi and hhis mother can produce the light hawk wings, I don't see why Yosho would't be able to. |

Doesnt everyone one in the royal family one way or another have a sheild defense system? i know not everyone has light hawk wings ik for sure ayeka doesnt but does sasami? i mean she is Tsunami and ik for sure Tsunami does. |

Wow! Do I have a ton of typos on this page or what? Anyways, if Kagato can remove his hand from his wrist, why didn't he do that as he was getting zapped by the sword after the fight? |

Right after the fight with Kagato was concluded, the truth about Yosho was revealed and everything that Tenchi had been taught in the legends was indeed historical facts. Yosho had to know that this would not have remained hidden from Tenchi forever, especially since Ryoko had already been released from her prison. Ryoko's crimes would become self-evident in due time and without full knowledge of the events of the past Tenchi would have judged Ryoko accordingly. However, Tenchi had just witnessed with his own eyes the power that Kagato had used to control Ryoko and force her to do his dirty work. So at time of this event, Ryoko was acquitted of wrongdoing at the very moment she was indicted. A very nice work of storytelling this episode is. ^_^ |

Ryoko was 'acquitted of wrongdoing' when the statute of limitations ran out on her in episode 2. |

Acquitted on paper yes, although I was referring to the opinion of Tenchi rather than the GP charges against Ryoko. |
